The Rev. Canon Terry Wong has been in full-time Christian work for more than 25 years and has pioneered various ministries and congregations. He is currently the Vicar of St James’ Church, a large, vibrant, and growing parish in the Diocese of Singapore. His parish is also involved in planting a new ministries in Bangkok, Thailand.

He will be sharing on the principles and practicalities of pastoring a parish and starting new ministries from his context. Canon Wong is currently on sabbatical leave, studying at Wycliffe College, Toronto.

The experience and Biblical priorities of Canon Wong will relate directly to the challenges that we all face in our churches, namely how to make effective contact with people who are outside the Christian community, and how to equip ourselves and others to communicate the gospel in a post-Christian and secular culture.

Priests, pastors, missionary, Christian ministry workers and those who are excited about mission are all welcome.

Admission is FREE and breakfast will be served at 9:00am.
