Igorot Festival Day – July 12, Edmonton

With the support of other Filipino organizations in the area, Holy Trinity (Filipino) is organizing an Igorot Festival Day on July 12, 2014 in a park.  Igorot means mountain people in the Philippines, and most members of Holy Trinity are Igorots.  May God use this opportunity to reach out to more people who are yet to know Jesus.  Please also ask God would grant them good weather for this day of celebration.

Venue: LAURIER PARK (13221 Buena Vista Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T5R)
Time: 10:00 A.M.
ACTIVITIES:
I – Registration
II- Parade with Costumes
III- Cultural Presentation by Tribes
IV- Games for Adults and Children (e.g. Tug of War, Sack Race, etc.)
V- Food & Beverages – Potluck

First Anniversary- Holy Trinity Edmonton (Filipino)

Holy Trinity Edmonton will celebrate their First Anniversary on September 14, 2013 at 1:30pm at Canora Community Hall (10425 152 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5P 4P1).  Holy Trinity Edmonton cordially invites your presence to celebrate with them. 

This 1st anniversary and Holy Communion service will be presided by Bishop Stephen Leung where he will also preach.  After the service, the people of the Holy Trinity who represents at least 5 different tribal groups will perform 5 Filipino cultural dances for their tribes.
