Invitation: “Being Christians in South Sudan”

Bishop Abraham Yel Nhial, Diocese of Aweil, South Sudan will speak on the subject of “Being Christians in South Sudan” in the public service on June 8 at 3:00pm at Good Shepherd Vancouver (189 West 11th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5Y 1S8).

On behalf of St. John’s Surrey and AMMiC, we sincerely invite you to join with us in worshipping God together with brothers and sisters from different ethnicities, particularly the South Sudanese, and at the same time, listening to first hand testimony of being a Christian in South Sudan.

*As a result of Bishop Abraham’s ministry to the South Sudanese and Sudanese in Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya, the South Sudan Peace Institute has been established recently.  The Institute’s mission is to practice reconciliation and to defeat the power of hatred, division and death in South Sudan.
