The 2015 Anglican Church in North America Provincial Council, Executive Committee, and College of Bishops are meeting this week on the campus of the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. The Asian and Multicultural Ministries in Canada (AMMiC) sharing was by Bishop Stephen Leung on how God has been guiding and leading the ministry. (The video below should start automatically at Bishop Stephen’s sharing at 6 hours and 50 minutes into the video. Bishop Stephen’s sharing end at 7 hours and 7 minutes.)
Rev. Shihoko Warren from Church of All Nations (Japanese) also shared her testimony to the Provincial Council.
The Provincial Council meeting concluded with a reception and a Holy Eucharist Service celebrating the Festival of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist at Church of Good Shepherd in Vancouver. Choirs from AMMiC’s Church of Good Shepherd and St. Matthias and St. Luke Church joined with St. John’s Vancouver provided wonderful voice to the worship sing, especially the Offertory Hymn presentation.

The Most Wonderful Blessing in Life with Agnes Chiang was held in Boston last Saturday. More than 170 attended the two gatherings in Cantonese and Mandarin. Ms Chiang shared touching stories in her own family where the gospel changed the lives of the members one after another. At the end, 22 of the attendees came forward to accept Jesus Christ. May the churches in Boston follow up with them to let them truly understand the gospel, so that their lives can be changed forever as well. May our Lord be praised with all honor and glory!
Ms Chiang also shared the work of Left-behind Children’s Ministry in China, unveiling a severe social problem caused by the rapid economic boom in the country. Offerings were collected in support of the ministry.
After the second event in the afternoon, Agnes had dinner with the organizers in Boston. Though she was exhausted from days of travel on her tour and the back-to-back engagements in the afternoon, she actively engaged in conversations and listened to the stories behind the founding of Emmanuel Anglican Church. She shared the importance of
upholding Biblical truth when we live in a world where “lies become truth” and where it becomes increasingly challenging to raise the next generation. She didn’t depart Boston until well after 10pm on a 2-hour journey to Portland, Maine, where the next engagement would begin at 10 in the morning!
Agnes received the vision and responded quickly to open the doors for children ministries in China, where such work was once forbidden. May the churches in the Boston area also respond quickly to the callings and proclaim the gospel truth in the communities around us. May the Lord bless the ministries of Agnes and the Love Foundation. May His name be glorified on earth as it is in heaven.
